Two ways to bring in data. You can connect your financial accounts through our third-party aggregation provider, Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”), or you can import your own transaction data using a CSV file. These are the only two methods the Service uses to obtain your transaction data.
Read-only access through Plaid. When you connect an account through Plaid, you authorize EasyPeasy and Plaid to access and transmit your account and transaction information from your financial institution, on your behalf, on a read-only basis. You enter your bank login credentials directly with Plaid; we do not receive or store them. Your information is transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid under the Plaid End User Privacy Policy, and your relationship with your financial institution remains governed by your agreement with that institution.
Accuracy and timeliness. Account information is only as current and accurate as the data provided by your financial institution, Plaid, or the CSV file you upload. We do not independently verify it, and it may be delayed, incomplete, or out of date — for example, CSV data does not refresh on its own and grows stale over time. You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you upload. You should not rely on the Service as the definitive record of your finances; your financial institution’s records control.
